About Titan

Classic FFXI Server

Titan is a traditional level 75-era FFXI server forked from Phoenix, with carefully selected quality-of-life improvements for solo and small-group adventurers.

Classic FFXI Foundation

Titan preserves the core pace and balance of classic level 75-era FFXI. Skill-up rates and experience gain remain era-accurate, while movement speed uses the current retail value of 50 as a deliberate quality-of-life improvement over Phoenix's classic 40. Players, jobs, skills, and magic are not artificially buffed. NM respawn timers are not shortened, drop rates are not increased, and combat progression is left intact. Titan's quality-of-life changes are focused on accessibility and reducing unnecessary friction, not making the game itself easier.

Dynamic Story Trusts

Trust NPCs join you naturally during quests, missions, regions, and encounters where their presence makes sense. No Trust is permanently owned. As the story progresses, companions come and go with it.

Full Trust Party Support

Players may summon up to five eligible Trust NPCs at once, allowing a solo player to form a full six-member party. Players do not need to manually unlock these Trusts. As quests, missions, regions, and story events make certain companions relevant, they will automatically appear in the player's Trust pool and disappear again when that part of the story is complete.

Sparks from Combat

Sparks are earned naturally by defeating monsters, based on the EXP gained from each kill. Traditional Records of Eminence objectives are not required. Sparks can then be spent at Sparks NPCs for useful leveling gear and supplies appropriate to the level 75 era.

Teleport Crystals

Teleport Crystals are enabled throughout the world and must first be unlocked normally by discovering and touching them. Once unlocked, travel uses gil, with the price scaling dynamically based on the location and distance of the destination crystal.

Survival Guides

Survival Guides are enabled throughout the world and must first be unlocked normally by discovering and interacting with them. Once unlocked, they can be used for fast travel using Tabs, the same currency earned through Fields of Valor and Grounds of Valor pages, with travel costs scaling based on the destination.

Fields & Grounds of Valor

Fields of Valor and Grounds of Valor pages are enabled for repeatable EXP while adventuring. Page EXP can be earned as often as you complete the objectives, while Tabs are awarded only once per hour, preserving Tabs as a more limited travel and utility currency.

Two Characters Per Account

Each account is limited to two characters. This keeps progression focused, encourages meaningful job development, and prevents players from bypassing progression or resource limitations through excessive alternate characters.

No Dual Boxing

Dual boxing is not permitted. Only one character may be connected per IP address at a time, keeping progression centered on a single active player and preventing players from bypassing solo-focused balance through additional accounts or characters. Household exceptions may be granted upon request for multiple legitimate players sharing the same internet connection.

Era-Accurate Experience

Experience gain follows a traditional level 75-era progression model similar to Phoenix. EXP rates, party scaling, level differences, and monster difficulty are kept close to the classic FFXI experience. Because Titan relies on Trust NPCs to support solo and small-group progression, Level Sync is completely disabled.

Solo-Friendly Battlefields

Mission, quest, BCNM, and other instanced battlefields may be entered without traditional minimum party-size requirements. Appropriate Dynamic Story Trusts can accompany players where they fit the encounter, allowing story progression without requiring a full group while preserving the original fight mechanics and difficulty.

Reduced Waiting, Not Reduced Challenge

Unnecessary time gates, excessive respawn waits, and other mechanics built primarily around forcing players to wait may be shortened where appropriate. Enemy strength, encounter mechanics, progression requirements, and rewards remain faithful to the level 75 experience.

Era-Accurate Equipment & Progression

Titan remains firmly within level 75-era progression. Post-75 equipment, item-level gear, and systems that invalidate traditional endgame progression are unavailable. Quality-of-life systems are designed to support the original gear progression rather than replace it.

Job-Friendly Storage

Expanded storage options are available to support players leveling multiple jobs on a single character. Equipment still has to be obtained normally, but managing gear for many jobs should not become an inventory-management game.
